The office of Dr. Steven
Axt was established in 1981. The office is a podiatric medical
and surgical practice specializing in the diagnosis, treatment and
prevention of disorders and diseases of the foot and ankle for
children, adults, and seniors. The office is under the direction
of Dr. Steven B. Axt. Dr. Axt is recognized as one of the
leading foot and ankle specialists in the country.
At our office we offer
comprehensive treatment of functional problems of the foot and ankle,
fitting and modification of orthotic inserts and podiatric sports
medicine services. Our doctors and staff pride themselves in prompt and courteous treatment of conditions ranging from minor toe
nail and cosmetic foot problems to major re-construction of deformities or
correcting a previously failed surgery. We also manage and treat diabetic
foot problems including diabetic wounds.
Our goal is not only
to provide quality foot care but to be as timely as possible. We
know your time is valuable and we will make every attempt for you to
avoid a lengthy wait. If an emergency arises which will cause you
any inconvenience, our staff will make every attempt to contact you
prior to arriving and will schedule you for another time.

office participates with most health insurance plans, HMO'S and PPO's. Patients are responsible for deductibles,
co-payments and remaining balances. If you are part of an HMO plan
requiring a referral, it is the patient's responsibility to obtain a
referral, prior to their appointment.
